Radical Ownership
The only way forward
So, I think the world today, and maybe even yesterday, is infested with the disease of imposter syndrome.
And no matter what you do, how much work you put into something, how much blood, sweat, and tears — patience, pain, grit, persistence, consistency, and anything else required.
To be the best. To be better. Even just to be better than yourself from yesterday.
SELF RELATIONSHIP
And yet still, after all that work — you still have doubt.
You don’t really believe in your ultimate victory.
You don’t really believe in your dominance above all.
You ask yourself, why me?
You may not consciously do it — but subconsciously you do.
You have that voice in your head, nagging, why me? Why me?
There’s a quote that I love.
If not me, then who?
If not now, then when?
And rather than regret not trying.
Rather than regret being afraid of the world looking down at you, or talking behind your back and criticising you.
RADICAL OWNERSHIP
Just do it anyway. Do it anyway.
We’re all gonna die anyway. Go for greatness.
You only have one life: throw away all the trauma, all the doubt, all the failures, all the things that you carry with you.
The things you think are standing in your way of achieving what you really want.
Stop trying to convince yourself that this isn’t for you.
This is for you. This. Is. For. You.
And the first step is to actually believe it, and go for it.
Take full ownership. There are no excuses.
