Romanticise your Life
You are missing out on 99% of life because of FEAR.
“Why not? Life is short. Life is dull. Life is full of pain. And this is a chance for something special.” — Juan Antonio in Vicky Christina Barcelona
I saw a girl at a bar recently. There was something about her: her energy, her aura, her beauty — that magnetism drew me in.
She felt like someone who believed in higher ideals: Greatness. Purpose. Maybe even her own greatness. But there was something holding her back.
Maybe it was her past. Maybe her hometown. Maybe the examples life had shown her — her environment, the people in her life, her bad experiences. She seemed caught between two worlds: the life she was leading and and the one she dreamed of.
Self-Imposed Limitations
And that’s when it hit me — most people live like that.
They dream of greatness but never allow themselves to truly believe it’s theirs to reach. They romanticise ideas but not their own lives.
To an extent, the greatness they dream of is just escapism from their real lives. They would rather escape their real life in their dreams — rather than risk trying to make their dreams a reality.
Here’s the truth
You have to believe, really believe, that you can reach those impossible visions.
And you have to act in alignment with that belief — live as if your future greatness is inevitable.
And when you start doing that, the outcome stops being a fantasy. It becomes your reality.
The Problem: most people never even start because they think dreaming big is naive and stupid. But that’s exactly how small lives are born, not from failure but from fear.
So romanticise your life… 🌹🪞
See yourself as the main character of something grand, bigger than yourself even.
You are not only living your life, but the life of someone special and one-of-a-kind.
Because you are, if you dare to believe it.
